Java Tech Lead – Staff Engineer

Help to define and improve our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. You’ll brainstorm with Product Managers, Designers, and Frontend Engineering to conceptualize and build new features for scaling product and userbase. You’ll actively own features and define their long-term health, while also improving the health of surrounding systems.You will help steer the direction of the back end team, by setting the team’s processes and procedures. You will be actively involved in growing your team, by participating in hiring and recruitment activities. You will coach and mentor members of your team, provide technical guidance, set standards and advocate for those standards through code reviews. You’ll spend part of your time on code development.
