About the Job

Job Summary

Nagwa is looking to hire a person who is passionate about translation and integrates creativity with professionalism to become the Arabic Translation Team Leader. A translation passionate who integrate creativity with professionalism, a technological savvy, and a language fluency upkeep.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising, monitoring, and managing translators to ensure the quality of the translation
  • Maintaining the localization glossaries and style guides and keeping them up-to-date and audience-appropriate
  • Collaborating with content creation and product teams to ensure that language requirements are understood and supported, both from technical and linguistic perspectives
  • Allocating translation materials to team members according to their subject matter experience
  • Providing review and verification of translation work as required
  • Coaching the team members and holding training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest translation techniques
  • Developing and measuring the individual skills of team members and creating a team structure that allows flexibility
  • Assisting management with the hiring process and training new team members
  • Organizing the workflow according to the required targets to guarantee optimum results
  • Overseeing the workflow to identify and address points of development

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in translation, linguistics, or any related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in localization project management
  • Excellent command of Arabic and English
  • Fair knowledge of science and mathematics
