About the Job

Accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and

tracing costs back to activities based accounting level.

• Monitor actual cost-effective data needed to provide an activity base level of costing information.

• Coordinate inventory, procurement counts and cycle counts.

• Investigate supply chain cycle counting variances and resolve issues

• Compare actual activity based cost with the bill of materials in line with purchase orders

• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies

• Generate Monthly projects actual depreciation report as per activity based accounting level

• Accumulate and apply overhead costs to projects counts as required.

• Work with the supply chain board to generate material actual received, consumed, returned and

balanced report as per activity based accounting level.

• Generate monthly projects manpower total actual cost as per activity based accounting level.

• Collect all the required information to generate the actual cost report monthly wise.

• Analyzing data collected and recording results

• Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to

determine effects on cost

• Recording projects indirect cost information for use in controlling expenditures

• Analyzing audits of Subcontractors actual cost in-line with subcontracts and/or POs

• Maintaining Management Information System for Cost Accounting in activity based level

Job Requirements

 . Minimum of 5 solid years of Cost Accounting in a Construction Industry.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

• Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of

accounting principles.

• Computer Literate – Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word

• Experience working with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost

standards

• Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
