Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults .Responding to breakdownsDiagnosing faultsRepairing equipmentMonitors all equipment’s on production line, makes necessary adjustments and/or repairs to maintain smooth running of production line.Ensures that production targets are met in respect of efficiency, minimum wastage and operating rates.anticipates / repairs any defects which may cause production lines stoppage.Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctlyCarry out quality inspections on jobsArrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or componentsControl maintenance tools, stores and equipmentMonitor and control maintenance costsDeal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairsEnsure that the maintenance process & staff are working according to the safety regulations.Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.Supervising engineering and technical staff.Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.
